Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn Montgomery

Research on aging stresses the importance of keeping your body and brain moving to impede the growth of diseases of all kinds. That is where OLLI at AUM steps in.  We are part of a national network of 120 institutes connected to major colleges or universities across the country and now serving over 100,000 adults age 50 and older who want to age gracefully and remain lifelong learners.  

The Winter 2019 Open House Event will be held on Thursday,  November 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Center for Lifelong Learning, 75 TechnaCenter Drive, Montgomery AL 36117.

Personal Development

Pursuing personal interests can reveal hidden talents and add excitement to your life! Our Personal Development courses can assist you in developing a new hobby or skill, or enhance an existing one. These courses are a great way to make new friends who share similar interests. You’ll look forward to going to class, and you never know what hidden talents you’ll uncover!

Classes We have Offered:

  • Photography - Basic begins October 8th, Intermediate begins January 28th, and Advanced will begin March 11th.
  • Ballroom Dancing
  • Spanish

Youth Programs

Summer Youth Programs Catalog

OutReach offers a variety of educational enrichment programs for children of all ages including Summer Youth Camps, ACT Review classes, and Math & Reading Programs. These programs instill children and teens with an excitement for learning, prepare them for the upcoming school year, and equip them with necessary skills for the college entrance exam. 

During the school year we offer ACT Preparation courses to help students prepare for the ACT Test and improves test scores. Click the link to view the schedule for fall, winter and spring! 

AUM's Summer Youth Programs offer a variety of fun in addition to educational and age-appropriate experiences for students K5 through 12th grade. Math & Reading classes during the summer time are for rising K5 through 6th graders that will launch your child's abilities and prepare them for the upcoming school year.
