How Did We Get Here? Trump vs. Clinton & What Business Leaders Need to Know

Join David Wasserman as he analyzes how we arrived at our chaotic political predicament. David will lay out the powerful, long-term forces that have led us to this milestone in presidential politics and structurally shaken Congress: a cultural self-sorting of the electorate, the decentralization of news, a decline in the power of political parties (independent voters are now 43 percent of the electorate!), economic bifurcation and the global rise of nationalism. Come hear David’s take on the future of American politics and his prognosis of what we can expect in the 2016 presidential and Congressional elections.

Encouraging Millennials on Your Team

Many consider word-of-mouth advertising the holy grail of brand expansion, but countless businesses forget the word-of-mouth generated internally and by their team of millennials. There is no one that understands the mindsets of millennial workers better than Johnny Cupcakes. In this dynamic presentation, he will inspire leaders to create a culture of “brand obsessives,” team members who will shout about the company values and engage with the brand on a deep level, resulting in loyal teams and bowled-over customers.

Key takeaways include:

•    Focus Pocus — When the stakes are high, how do we keep our teams focused and driven?
•    Happiness Hypothesis — Get your team to fall in love with what they do
•    Supportive Leadership — How do we create a culture where failure is appreciated?
•    Brand Alignment — Simple tools to embody the brand in and out of work hours

February 16

John O'Leary, Author of #1 National Best-Seller ON FIRE, Inspirational Speaker

ON FIRE: The 7 Choices to Ignite a Radically Inspired Life.

Thursday, February 16
7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Wynlakes Golf & Country Club, Montgomery

We live in a world where "accidental living" - mindlessly moving through routines, wasting countless hours on social media, or complaining about what's wrong in our jobs, families and society - has become the norm, but John O'Leary reminds us that just because we got out of bed this morning, does not mean that we are truly living.  What would our day, impact, and output look like if we lived a radically inspired life, every, single day?  Living radically inspired means you learn from past mistakes, rise above challenges and thrive no matter the circumstances. No one embodies this more than John O'Leary - who was nearly killed in a devastating fire at age nine.

In his #1 national bestselling book ON FIRE: The 7 Choices to Ignite a Radically Inspired Life, John has identified choices to transform your life and business. John will share the critical truth that "inflection points" - moments in time that change everything that follows - occur daily. John will help you realize it's your choice how inflection points affect you. Your life has much less to do with what happens to you, and much more to do with how you react to it. Are you ready to live on fire?
